Dinner!

With the temps the way they were, the kids out of school and JP on a biz trip to our nation's capitol, I had to make peace with the fact that today was a good ol' sedentary day.

When my body is at (forced) rest, I tend to think more about diet.  Thus...

Before:

Mixed fruit, blueberries, banana, kale, ground flax seed and orange juice.

After:
Tastes better than it looks.
Dessert:

Tastes as good as it looks.

  1. I was with you until the flax seed :\ but I guess I should try it in a smoothie first before judging.

    Ahh, Modus. Always in the fridge, and I think it just replaced Steamworks' Third Eye Pale Ale as my fave. It's a rotating list :)

  2. Yep...the flax seed (ground) is no factor taste-wise. Just a solid dose of omega 3 & 6 (mostly 3). You can also toss it in oatmeal.
