Steamboat - Yampa River Bike Path

Time: 25 minutes
Distance: 3.5 miles
Effort: Moderate
Body: Fair
Weather: Sunny and warm

The four of us tubed down the Yampa River, lazing in the sun and floating through a few class II waves and drops. Put in just above Mt. Werner Road and floated down to the Werner Library at the north end of downtown. Ran back to get the car. Wore a new pair of Injinji socks I got for Father's Day. I liked them. Even wet and with wet shoes the socks felt great. Need to try them on a long run.

  1. Hey there Mr. PR Machine! I'm starting to swear by those goofy looking Injinji socks. Just wish they were't so damn pricey. And tough call on Run Rabbit Run or the Golden Leaf. I've never run either and figure why not add on another 50 miler this year. So I'm committing to Steamboat this weekend. Looks like there's still a good 50 slots open for the race.

  2. Damn...I didn't even think about the race filling. I better get on it! Thanks, Jaime.
