Easy hour-long run from home down Quarterhorse Road to south side of Jefferson County's Elk Meadow dog park, across Stagecoach Road and into Elk Meadow Open Space, a 1,600-acre park that pretty much defines the Evergreen, Colorado area. Did a quick cruise on the Meadow View Trail to just below the Evergreen Parkway parking lot and hoofed it home on pavement from there.
Perfect weather and temperature for an easy, shake-out-the-legs run.
